Cincinnati personal injury lawyer Dan Moore made his third appearance on
Moore Law,joining host and local TV journalist Deb Haas and his father, attorney co-host Don Moore, to help answer viewer questions about “Traffic Accidents.” Don and Dan took a moment to talk about a client of theirs who had purchased a scooter and was seriously injured when a car turned in front of him on a residential street. The attorneys showed a picture of the scooter from after the collision to demonstrate the damage caused.
“I think every person who rides a motorcycle, or a scooter or something like that can tell you that people do things in cars in such a fast, quick way that you cannot react to them,” Dan said.
“And even though we got a nice recovery for him, that is not a fair trade for your physical health,” Don said. “Money does not equate to being able to walk and talk and do all the things you normally try and do.”
Moore Law viewers called in with a wide range of questions for the lawyers, including Rich in Cincinnati asking about his options after passing out on a highway, Mary in Florence wondering how to deal with an insurance company after causing an accident and both Katie in Kentucky and Bernadette in Cincinnati having questions involving rear-end collisions. Tom in Forest Park and Kelly in New Richmond were curious how values were calculated, with Tom asking about pain and suffering while Kelly was wondering about “totaled” vehicles.
You can watch the entire “Traffic Accidents” show in the video above. On next week’s Moore Law, Deb and Don will welcome Cincinnati Chief of Police, James Craig. The “Meet the Police Chief” show airs on Monday, May 28, 2012, at 9:30 a.m. on WXIX-TV, FOX19.
