Donald C. Moore, Jr.
Donald C. Moore Jr. has devoted his career to representing plaintiffs in personal injury and tort litigation. For over 25 years, Don has represented clients in nearly every facet of personal injury litigation, including: medical malpractice; products liability, including medical device failures and drug liability; auto accidents; industrial and construction accidents; and intentional torts by employers, including assaults. In addition, Don has prosecuted insurance bad faith cases, where an insurance company has failed to honor its obligations, both in first party claims (where the insurance company has failed to honor its obligations to the policyholder) and third party claims (where the insurance company has failed to meet the duty of good faith and fair dealing when processing a claim or coverage dispute made against someone else’s insurance policy).
Prior to becoming an attorney, and while attending college and law school, Don was an insurance claims representative for large insurance companies, corporations and hospitals. His prior experience in the insurance industry has given him invaluable insight and a distinct advantage in negotiating with insurance companies. Don is able to anticipate issues which may arise during the course of such negotiations and formulate creative strategies in applying the law to client’s circumstances.
Don is a recognized personal injury attorney in the state of Ohio and is frequently sought after as an author of legal articles and a lecturer for national and local bar associations on topics related to his areas of practice. He has also lectured internationally in Romania to surgeons, physicians and nurses on the status of medical malpractice law in the United States.
Don received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati in 1976 and his Juris Doctor degree from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University in 1979.
Professional Affiliations
Don is licensed to practice before all state courts in Ohio and Kentucky and the federal courts in the Southern District of Ohio. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court.
