The Elyria Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol stated that 38-year old Thomas Tomasheski was driving southbound on State Route 83 with his wife and two children in the car.

Rescuers transported her to Metro Health Medical Center, but they were unable to save her life. The father, Thomas Tomasheski, was also transported to Metro and underwent surgery. He is listed in critical condition. His daughter Danielle Tomashseski underwent surgery at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. There is no report on her condition.
Gerald Wetherbee also suffered injuries from the collision. He is being treated at Metro and his condition is unknown.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says alcohol and/or drugs are a contributing factor in the crash, which is under investigation.
