Moore Law provided viewers with three generations of legal experience this past Monday as attorney co-host Don Moore was joined by his father, retired Cincinnati civil litigation lawyer Don Moore Sr., as well as his son, Cincinnati
personal injury attorney Dan Moore. Host and local TV journalist Deb Haas was unable to join them due to being under the weather, but the three gentlemen fielded a variety of viewer questions in relation to the topic of “All About Injuries.”
Don explained that his father evaluated personal injury cases as a claims adjuster while in law school. “That’s correct, I was on the insurance side of it at that point,” Don Sr. said. “Later on, it went the other way.”
Some of the questions from viewers included concerns from Troy in Kentucky about permanent partial disability, a possible dental medical malpractice claim from Tracy in Middletown and possible faulty tires causing a car accident for Becky in Lebanon. Ellen in Cincinnati also called in to ask about pain she was still experiencing at her job after taking a year off work because of an injury while Barb in Cincinnati had a concern about a possible medical malpractice claim after being diagnosed with breast cancer. “The thing that you have to be careful of is that one-year statute of limitations,” Dan said. “That can escape before you know it, so if you’re going to pursue this, you need to do it right away.”
You can watch the entire “All About Injuries” show in the video above. On the next episode of Moore Law, Deb and Don will be joined by Cincinnati child support attorney Phyllis G. Bossin to take viewer questions about “Divorce and Child Custody.” The show airs on Monday, May 7, 2012, at 9:30 a.m. on WXIX-TV, FOX19.
