VP of Operations from BBB to Discuss Scams, Rip-Offs on Next Episode of 'Moore Law'

With the tax deadline fast approaching, host and local TV journalist Deb Haas and attorney co-host Don Moore will be joined by Leslie Kish, the Vice President of Operations at the Cincinnati Better Business Bureau (BBB), on the next episode of Moore Law this Monday, April 2, 2012, at 9:30 a.m. The topic for the show will be “Scams & Rip-Offs.” Leslie has been working at the BBB since 1994 and helps educate the public and businesses about marketplace trust through public speaking engagements, writing for the BBB blog and working with local businesses, media and government agencies.

After receiving her bachelor of arts in interdisciplinary social science from Michigan State University, Leslie started at the Cincinnati BBB as a Customer Service Specialist, providing reliability reports, general consumer advice, referrals and assistance to customers with complaints. In 1996, she began serving as a Mediation/Arbitration Specialist for the BBB, working directly with customers and businesses to resolve disputes through conciliation and mediation. Two years later, Leslie was promoted to Director of Operations & Accreditation and was responsible for planning, organizing and directing activities related to the company’s day-to-day operations. Leslie served in that capacity for 12 years before again being promoted to her current position as Vice President of Operations.
