Local 12 reports that I-71 is now open again after a truck accident this morning at 10:30 AM closed the freeway down. A truck and three cars were involved in the wreck, and at least one person was taken to the hospital. The accident happened near King’s Island.
Hardly a day goes by that you don’t hear about a tractor-trailer involved in a highway accident. In this case, one truck and three vehicles were reportedly involved in a wreck near Kings Island, that snarled traffic for miles. The news reports don’t state which parties were at fault or how the accident occurred. One thing for sure - evidence with respect to each of the vehicles is probably being towed away as we speak. Evidence on and around the roadway is being swept up, driven over by other vehicles or fading from view as a result of the heavy traffic on I-71. I hope no one was seriously hurt. If they were, I hope the victims get the representation they need in dealing with the opposing insurance company.
