Employer Intentional Tort

Share

In Ohio there is a special category called of injury case called employer intentional tort cases, now all that is, is a fancy name of saying that if an employer breaks so many rules and is so careless with respect to the treatment of their employees and that results in a serious injury that they may be held liable for damages over and above workers compensation. We’ve represented an awful lot of people who have had terrible burns, have lost limbs, hands, feet, had severe spinal injuries, or head injuries, all as a result of an employer failing to follow so many rules that they were setting it up so an accident was nearly certain to happen. Often they even involved the removal of safety guards and other safety equipment; forcing employees to work under dangerous conditions. If you suffered a serious injury and these are the circumstances, circumstances occurred like I just described you might have and employer intentional tort case.
