Former Insurance Adjuster

Share

One thing that has really helped me in representing people that have been seriously injured or families of those who have been killed as a result of somebody else’s negligence. I was an insurance adjuster for about 6 years while I was putting myself thorough undergrad and law school. That gave me the experience of understanding how insurance companies act and how they think. An insurance adjuster gets many, many new claims every month, they negotiate with attorneys, they investigate cases, they evaluate liability every day. A person who hasn’t had those experiences really doesn’t have the chance to develop the judgment necessary to handle a case on their own. You just can’t go up against a professional negotiator or a professional evaluator without the same kind of experience and expect to get a fair result.
